Bajaj has released its newer version of pulsar 220cc. Highly extremed torque power, with 20bhp. All more with new style and classy look
Bajaj’s Pulsar DTS-Fi 220cc motorcycle priced at around Rs 85,000.
The Bajaj Pulsar DTS-Fi is expected to touch a top speed of 135kph. That is an excellent top speed in Indian conditions, probably matched only by the Kinetic Aquila – which anyway is not available in India now.

Im from mumbai u say top speed of karizma is 125 but my new karizma-R gives me 140 and it feels it can deliver more but bad road & traffic in city restricts it. I had not done any modification(e.g k&n filter and jetting). Also average between 35 & 40. Can mail me ttushar_2005@sify.com

I am not sure how you have measured the speed,
if you can do it using GPS it will be the best,
all other methods (including reading the speedo in digital)
could be inaccurate.
I measured around 15 kmph difference while doing 140 kmph
using a GPS in the car.

Hi guys i have already booked a p220 30 days back and i am expecting it within the next 20 days i had done a dino test and it was amazing today itself at vashi probiking on the dyno itself i did a top self of 132 kmph. I think she was ready to do more but i got scared as it was no free on open road i am pretty sure p 220 will easily touch at least 140 kmph thanks

Well i say p220cc is really not good and you can’t compare with Karizma because when you are in 120 Kmph speed at that time pulser can’t cut air pressure properly because of it’s tank but Karizma and Yamaha RX G are Cool. Pulser is nor comfortable in sitting. Pulser is trying to do Best Keep Rocking Pulser. Karizma is more Power full then p220cc. Check it dear. After searcahing many reviews of P220 found that it got the pick up, energy but problem of electricals. Fuse often get blasted. Vibrations at high speeds. No kick presnt in battery failures on hig ways. Plus the same old looks except cosmetic changes like headlight and fearings. But its a definatly a step ahead towards the power bikes coming in India. They just need to learn n imporve. will take some time.

Its an awesome bike p220. The only word i can say for the bike “Monstor”.
i have owned this bike one month before. Till now i had completed 900 km. It is giving me the mileage of 35- 38kmpl in city and 43 – 47 on highway. 0 – 100 i have made in 15 sec thats too in the 4 th gear In 3rd gear i reached 90 kmph. Its a beast.

2.more smoother and safer than pulsar
3.more more stylish look than pulsar
4.herohonda tries for newlook.but bajaj sticks to the same design
5.resale value is far higher than pulsar
6.streamlining is awesome which helps in higher speed to cut the air which is not tat gud in pulsar
7.no1 company bike.a BRAND for the youth

in looks kzm-R is much better. but in bhp & rear disc brake p220 is better.
which bike is best depends on ones priority.my priference is good looking bike.
because :
1) most bike owner ride thier bike 2-3 times or may be more often daily.many people looks at u.just like (good clothes, good shoes, neatly pressed dress etc) u look nice & ur overall personality looks good.in the same way a good looking bike also enhance ur personlity.
2)as fas as bhp is concerned the p220 may outperorm kzmaR by few kms top speed .may be 5 or 6 km.but answer me guys in last six months how many times have u really race with any compareable cc bike.like kzmaR & p220, CBZ-Xtreme & p150,
only these races count. racing with smaller cc or bigger cc bike are race.
now i guess in last 6months one have merely raced 20-25 times only.
So when one has to race mabe 4 times a month VS one has to ride 4 times daily.

Hi everyone, Pulser and Krizma both seemed to be good and sporty bikes. But they are not as good as in looking i.e shape and built. Upgrade model like the one YAMAHA , HONDA sports bikes. There is no doubt about POWER, 220-250cc bikes are fine to drive in country like India and Nepal due to road and speed restriction. However. i recommend to bring change in its structure.

well guys i own 3 bikes… karizma r, pulsar220 n yamaha r15.. but seriously speakin pulsar220 has got more raw power dan all of da three.. but karizma is a legend it was da trend setter in india for high cc n powerful bikes.. karizma engine is superb it works as new for years but dats not da case wid pulsar220.. r15 is new so hardly i can tell u nethin.. but r15 technology is superb.. all da 3 bikes have sum advantages n sum disadvantages.. but if u want power.. go for pulsar220.. morover milege is also good around 45kmpl. let me tel you.. 220 is ahead be it acceleration or top speed.. having Fi engine not ur carborator supported engine.. its differnt from other shit pulsurs which jus die at 5th gear.. this bike jus flies at 5th better then the zma
definitely zma has best handling n “engine” but i wish if honda were using fuel injection to smoke off the pulsers hope karizma Fi is reality..lolzz i wud buy it too
accelaration of both bikes is prety much the same.. 220 is a but quicker though.. but its the 3rd gear that makes the differnce.. it jus smokes off a karizma..220 goes all the way to 94 easily at 3rd.. 4th takes up to 119.. n 5th is all the way to 135-140..
i dont belive 220 crosses 140.. n neithr karizma HH states the top-speed of zma as 125[true not meter reading].. bajaj tels 135[true].. now these speeds may be indicated by meters as anything like 140+ to karizma riders n 150 or so to p220 riders.. the older ur bike greater err u see..
if u show even “even” 1 video zma beating 220.. then thre are thousands others showin the truth..
now if ur still not convinced.. then b kewl guys..both bikes rocks.. karizma has beter side-luks whereas 220 has alien head n good rear view.. karizma riders are happy wit their bikes.. but must know it feels bad to hear the loud sound of a bike overtaking you..

Hey guys,pulsar 220 is not only touches top speed 140kmph, it generates more power & torque also. and I must say one thing that pulsar 220 is only & only for male dude.ZMA is also good,but comparing to pulsar220 its nothing.
